Valentine’s Day is round the corner, so we’ve put together a round up of 10 things to do in Battersea; for romantics, cat lovers, beer lovers and kids alike!

1. Serious about love? Battersea Dogs & Cats Home is inviting cat lovers to register for their purrfect soulmate this Valentine’s Day. 

2. Set sail under the stars and give your Valentine’s some added spice with Cinnamon Kitchen and MBNA Thames Clipper.

3. In their own words, romantic dinners can do one so this year, do Valentine's Day right. Northcote Records are hosting a Cupid's Stupid Valentine's Day Party and you’re all invited. 

4. If you’re a foodromantic, take your loved one to Fiume restaurant, on the doorstep of the iconic Battersea Power Station and be seduced by dishes such as  Beef Battuta, Tagliolini, Scampi, Black Truffle and Monkfish, Seafood Vellutata. 

5. Enjoy 3-courses including canapés for £60 per person at London House, Battersea Square.

6. We Brought Beer are holding a special Valentine’s themed Beer Class - think craft beer paired with ‘romantic food’ - interpret how you like!

7. Who said Valentine’s is just for grown ups? Kids can make a special Valentine’s day card for their loved ones at Battersea Park Library. For children ages 4 (NB: this event takes place on Tuesday 12th February)

8. Love is in the air at Room 43. Couples or not...come along this Valentine for an amazing night of live jazz, stand up comedy, delicious 10 course tasting meal and a glass of Prosecco for £30. Limited spaces so book early. 

9. Sambrooks believe their brewery tours are the best in town! At only £3 (which includes a pint on arrival), we’re inclined to agree. Perfect for the beer lover in your life (even if that’s you!) 

10. Whether you’re after a romantic night out or just want to hang out with your lovely mates and do an Anti-Valentine’s thang, you can take advantage of the Gin Lovers Dinner at Bens Canteen.
