Battersea Reach Summer Fair

Battersea Reach Summer Fair

There’s a new festival in town and it’s happening at Battersea Reach Development, which is home to an array of burgeoning entrepreneurs ranging from established brands to boutique businesses. Many of these dynamic businesses have now joined forces to establish a Summer Fair that aims to thrill and delight with free activities and events whilst offering practical solutions on sustainability and zero waste. They’ll also be raising vital funds for a charitable cause.

MP for Battersea, Marsha De Cordova will be in attendance and said, “ I am really looking forward to Battersea Reach Summer Fair. Not only is it a great opportunity to bring our diverse community together for a fun day of activities for the whole family, but it is also a chance to support local businesses and raise money for an important cause – Great Ormond Street Hospital.”

The day is set to champion fresh ideas on sustainability – a subject close to the heart of BoConcept Manager and Interior Designer, Serene Huynh-Metson who added, “For the Summer Fair, we will have Source Bulk Foods joining us in our showroom for a workshop on zero waste within our households. I believe we can make informed changes within our homes, both visually and sustainably.”

With a veritable hive of free activities for all the family including an animal petting zoo, face painting, music, cupcake decorating, a treasure hunt with a contemporary twist and a grand finale raffle draw at Youngs Waterfront Pub with the Mayor of Wandsworth, the day is set to be great fun.
